Death in Battlerite is a fairly simple concept. If you run out of health during a match, your character is out of the game until the next round. The objective of the game is to eliminate all opponents, so it is inevitable that one team will have all of its players die in a given round. Note that Sudden Death will immediately occur when a team is down to one player, rather than when the round timer runs out (Further testing required).
Bullet Time Effect[edit | edit source]
Bullet Time is a feature that occurs upon death. When a champion dies, time will immediately slow down for a small amount of time (~1 second), allowing all remaining players to think about their next move or correct their aim. If dying champion will be able to kill his opponent during Bullet Time Effect and this was the only remaining champions result considered as a Draw.
Death Orb[edit | edit source]
When a player dies, they will drop all of their energy in the form of a large energy orb (rounded to nearest 25/50/75/100). The orb will be larger or smaller depending on the amount of energy dropped, and will also change color if at max energy (glowing yellow). Death Orbs can only be picked up by members of the same team.
